Global Freedom is the ministry of Ps Chris & Sally Hope.
Ps Chris & Sally have been in ministry for over 20 years as a Youth Pastors, Lead Pastors, Church Planters, Evangelist and Preacher.
Global Freedom was established in 2006 and since that time has been committed to reaching the nations. Global Freedom has on-going ministry in Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Haiti, Cambodia, Botswana, Kenya and throughout Australia & New Zealand.
Ministry Profile:
Pastor Chris was powerfully and radically saved as a 17 year old in 1992 and since then has been pursuing the call of God on his life. He has a mighty anointing to preach the gospel and has seen literally tens of thousands of people saved through his ministry. Chris and his wife Sally were the Youth and Young Adults Pastors at Gateway International Church, Geelong, Australia from 1998 to 2007 and founders of ‘Motiv’ which is a High School motivational program that operates in Secondary and Primary Schools at many different levels. Since then hundreds of young people have invited Jesus into their lives. Chris was also the Regional Director of Youth Alive Geelong for seven years (1999-2006) and through rallies and leadership conferences saw attendances grow from 300 to almost 1000. He was also part of the State Team for Youth Alive Victoria where thousands of young people attended rallies at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.
In 2006 Chris & Sally launched Global Freedom Inc, an evangelistic mission’s ministry that reaches out to Asia with the Gospel and equips people to reach their generation. In Feb 2008 Global Freedom held a 3 day crusade in Pakistan’s 3rd largest city where over 3000 people responded to the gospel. During this time there where hundreds of miraculous healings and for the first time in Pakistan’s history the event was televised live on the cities no. 1 cable network, they estimated an audience of over 1 million people.
Ps Chris has a great faith and prophetic mantle to see people saved, equipped and released through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. As a dynamic and often humorous preacher who speaks candidly from past experiences in his own life, Chris has been invited on numerous occasions to speak at Youth Rallies, Churches, camps and conferences both across Australia and overseas. Chris has already made numerous ministry trips to Malaysia (Klang, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh) Philippines (Manila, Tacloban), Indonesia (Jakarta, Balikpapan, Surabaya, Solo, Manado) Singapore, Botswana (Gaborone), New Zealand (Auckland), Pakistan, Haiti, Kenya (Nairobi, Nakuru) and South Thailand (Hat Yai).
In March 2011 God called Chris and Sally to plant a church in Albury, NSW. The Church grew from strength to strength starting with 4 people it quickly grew to 50 in the first 12 months and after 2 years moved into their own building which they fully renovated. In October 2014 Chris & Sally felt God’s call to Melbourne to continue with the ministry of Global Freedom and transitioned new Senior Pastors to lead the Church where it continues to prosper. In January 2015 the Hope family relocated to Melbourne.
Ps Sally is also an accomplished Pastor, Author & Speaker releasing her first book 'Have You Seen the One I Love' in 2007. Sally is currently working to release her second book, 'Steps of a Woman'. Sally has spoken into the lives of thousands of people through Churches & Woman's events across the country.
Ps Chris & Sally Together Chris and Sally have four children, Jasmine, Oscar, Emma and Olivia. He has also attained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ministry from Harvest Bible College, Melbourne.
