MINISTRY SNAP-SHOT

Pakistan

Global Freedom has been involved in Pakistan working with Churches since 2008. We have been developing programs to free Children from domestic slavery and establish schools to educate the marginalised young people. In 2008 we met with political leaders in one of the largest cities in Pakistan, which included the Chief of Police, the Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and staff from the local Mayors Office. In these meetings we were able to communicate our heart for the nation of Pakistan and pray for them.

In one of our crusades on the final night the Leader of the PPP for that Region attended and gave a word of greeting to all those in attendance. This event was televised live on the cities number one cable network to an audience of over a million people. We have also collaborated with local churches and helped raise finance to purchase property for the cities first Christian School. In 2013 the school was built and currently educates up to 1000 boys and girls. In 2015 due to government pressure and in accordance with the local law that girls and boys cannot attend school together, a second school was built and opened on the same allotment of land specifically for girls.

Recently we were able to minister to 2000 Church Leaders and Pastors with hundreds being filled with the Holy Spirit. God is certainly at work in this nation,

Haiti

We have worked with local Churches in Australia and New Zealand to raise support for Pastors and families who were overwhelmed post the massive earthquake in January 2010. We worked with the President of the Assemblies of God in Haiti to support those Churches that needed it most. We flew into the Dominican Republic and then travelled by bus across the border into Port au Prince. We were also able to deliver goods to Children affected by the earthquake. We continue to pray for this nation and hope to be there again in 2017.

Philippines

Since 2005 Global Freedom has been ministering in the Philippines working mainly in Tacloban City and more recently in Manila. In these cities we have led many teams and initiatives working along side local Churches and organisations. In Tacloban we also have a very good relationship with the assistant Mayor. We have been involved in a variety of areas such as:

• Conducting youth events in local Schools and Universities.

• Medical Missions to those villages affected by the mudslides of 2006.

• Project LIFE2TC: Rebuilding of homes in Tacloban City post the Typhoon in 2013.

• Preaching in Local Churches. • Outreach into villages in Manila, Tacloban and surrounding areas.

• Training students at the local Bible College.

• Visiting Slums and conducting programs for kids.

In 2013 we appeared on national television station PTV4 in Manila, Philippines on the ‘Good Morning Boss’ breakfast program to speak about Philippines and political problems in South Philippines, we were invited to pray for the nation and declare God's heart for the Filipino people.

Malaysia

We first visited Malaysia in 2005 and have established ongoing works with local Churches and ministries. We have ministered at Drug Rehabilitation Centres in Ipoh, ministered to the local indigenous people at fishing villages in Port Klang and ministered at a number of churches & youth camps all over Malaysia.

Indonesia

Global Freedom first began working in Indonesia in 2007 and since then have established great relationships with local churches and communities in the following cities: Surabaya, Solo (Central Java), Bondowoso (East Java), Balikpapan (Borneo), Samarinda, Sangata, Tarakan, Manado and Jakarta. There has been a variety of intiiatives and activities in throughout Indonesia all working with the local churches. Some of these are:

• Leading teams to run youth events and outreaches.

• Preaching at local Churches.

• Visiting the poor communities working alongside local churches in small regional areas.

• Conducting large community outreaches.

• Speaking on local radio.

• Preaching at televised Church events.
